Makeup Revolution’s Must-Have Designer Dupes!

Christmas can be a very expensive time of year and I’m a firm believer of treating yourself during the Holiday season but there is nothing worse than spending your money on an expensive beauty product and being disappointed.

Makeup Revolution has taken the makeup industry by storm, creating amazing products at a super affordable price. Their new releases are always on trend and they are well known for their high-end designer dupes at a fraction of the price.

Here are my three must-have Makeup Revolution products, which will be fantastic stock fillings for those starting out in makeup or those wanting to expand their collection:

Fast Base Stick Foundation – £4.19

Foundation sticks have come into their own over the past few years with Huda Beauty’s recent launch and more notable the Hourglass stick foundation, that became a cult classic and made major moves in the market upon its release. However, for a whopping £45, it definitely isn’t something everyone can afford in their kit.

The Fast Base Stick Foundations from Revolution Beauty are an amazing alternative for makeup kits of all abilities and with 18 shades in the range, Revolution has catered for a variety of skin tones and undertones. These sticks are extremely affordable and usually cost £5.99 but this Black Friday they are only £4.19!

The sticks are extremely blend-able and can be used as a cream contour and highlight too. If you struggle with makeup looking cakey throughout the day because of dry skin then foundation sticks are the perfect solution, they leave your skin looking fresh and dewy being able to build up coverage in the areas you require.

Bronzer Reloaded ‘Holiday Romance’ – £3.20

Yet again Makeup Revolution bringing an incredible dupe for Hourglass products. This time for the cult classic Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer, that would set you back £49. Makeup Revolution is here to help you save your pennies and provide you with a direct rival product; The Reloaded Bronzer in Holiday Romance

When this product launched I thought at £4 it was definitely worth a shot and I’m so delighted I did. The shade ‘Holiday Romance’ is the perfect warm-toned bronzer for light to medium skin tones. The baked powder gives your skin a beautiful pearlised finish and is buildable; there is nothing worse than overdoing it with the bronzer upon initial application. Be sure to get it whilst the Black Friday deals are available as it is only £3.20.

Flawless Foils ‘Rebound’ – £3

Stila definitely started my love affair for the trend of foiled eyeshadows and since I have always been on the hunt for the best alternatives, as they are rather expensive.

When I found the Flawless Foils from Revolution Beauty I was blown away at how amazing this product was. For £5 you certainly won’t be disappointed and this Black Friday you can get your hands on them for just £3. All Flawless foils come with an Intensifying Primer but I have never found the need to mix it in, they are pigmented enough if you use your finger, which I have found the best form of application.

Rebound (left) and Rose Gold (original on right)

Unfortunately, the shade that originally won me over is no longer available. Well… the shade name remains in the range ‘Rose Gold’ but it isn’t the same colour. If you are looking to try out a couple, then Rebound and Rival are my favourites.

The Flawless Foils have a beautiful metallic finish and if you are lucky enough to have a Christmas celebration to look forward to, I would recommend it for the perfect festive eye look!
