Ole Henriksen – Vitamin C Brightening Skincare

Since the rebrand of Ole Henriksen in 2017, they have dominated the Vitamin C skincare market. Having created four core product lines in colour-coded packaging, they have catered for every skincare concern:

Truth (brightening)

Transform (uneven texture)

Balance (oil control)

Transform Plus (ageing concerns)

Having been totally aware of the hype surrounding these products and following Jamie Genevieve’s reviews on them, I stumbled across the ‘Let’s Get Luminous’ Vitamin C campaign at Boots and thought I would see if I really could achieve the #OleGlow! Here is what I tried out:

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream £30.00 (£28.80 WITH BOOTS BLACK FRIDAY DEALS)

Eye cream is one of those things that many of my friends in their early 20s do not include in their skin routine. To be honest, I have to say I am not always that consistent, but since finding the Banana Bright Eye Cream it has changed my regime. I always hate the impact of buying eye cream on my bank balance, because for the pot size the price always seems outrageous – however, you only need the tiniest amount of this cream. The Ole Henriksen range smells absolutely incredible, a mix of banana and orange, which lifts pretty quickly if you aren’t into heavy scents. The eye cream has the most incredible sheen to it and makes your under eyes look hydrated and refreshed.

If you or someone you know are looking to try out Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream and a few other of his best selling products then keep reading for the perfect Christmas gift set.

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Face Primer £28.00 (£25.20 WITH BOOTS BLACK FRIDAY DEALS)

Although it is quite pricey, the Banana Bright Face Primer works beautifully under makeup giving your skin a glow from within. Its tacky consistency works as an incredible adhesive for your makeup, allowing it to smoothly glide over on application and last all day.

Ole Henriksen Let’s Get Luminous Brightening Vitamin C Essentials Set £32 (£28.80 with Boots Black Friday Deals)

If you are looking to kick-start your skincare journey or know someone who would love a skincare gift set for Christmas, then look no further than this fantastic Brightening Vitamin C essential set for £32. Last Christmas I put this on my wish-list and it certainly hasn’t disappointed. Having tried out the Banana Bright Primer and Eye Cream, I knew this set would be amazing. It is the perfect stocking filler and considering the price of the products individually these minis are amazing value.

As I previously mentioned there is a mini eye cream in this set but it also features they highly reviewed C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme and the infamous Truth Serum, two of the Ole Henriksen cult products.

Serums have always been a favourite skincare purchase of mine – they are much thinner than your daily moisturisers as they penetrate deeper into your skin and can target your specific skin concerns a lot quicker. The Truth Serum did not disappoint with wonderful sweet orange aromas. Applying twice daily I noticed a difference in the hydration of my skin, used in unison with the C-Rush creme, the scarring from previous spots had diminished and my skin had a subtle glow, something my dry skin rarely experiences.

The C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme is very comparable to the eye cream in terms of scent and texture. Similarly, leaving your skin with a beautiful glow from within! For my no-makeup days, I used the C-Rush creme in combination with the Banana Bright Primer and the glow my skin had throughout the day was incredible.

Lots of Love,
