September Favourites

Hey Perfectors,

Now we are officially in October I thought I would give you an insight to the products I have been loving over the month of September. As I have recently started my next year at University I’ve tried to suggest these products with a budget in mind…Enjoy!

Makeup

The first product I have been absolutely loving this month is the Tanya Burr Hollywood Eye Palette (£5.99). A gold smoky eye is a typical go- to eye shadow look for me and have been looking for the perfect quad that would give me this desired look. It provides a perfect brow bone and inner corner highlight (nude delight), to which I apply gold coin all over my eyelid, applying enchantment in the outer corner to give the smoky look. My favourite colour in the pallet is in fact bookworm, this is not because it is the most beautiful colour but it is an ideal crease shade for nearly every eye look. Before finding this colour I tended to use a bronzer in my crease because it was the best transition colour but bookworm is now my holy grail. This product is available to purchase in Superdrug stores and Feel Unique.

Colour Pop’s Super Shock Cheek (highlighter) in Lunch money ($8) is another affordable product that I have used time and time again this month. The soft light gold with a reflective golden duo chrome finish would suit a variety of skin tones and is so easily buildable, due to its cream base, that it would look beautiful for both day and night looks. Unfortunately for my UK followers this is a product only available in the US but if you are willing to pay for the shipping I would highly recommend this product.

Bath

Ickle Baby Bot (£1.95) from Lush is my bath product of the month. After my long hours at work over the summer and knowing the weather is getting colder, there is nothing better than ending my day with a bath. Not only is the design of this product adorable but the lavender aromas are so relaxing.IMG_1215

Fashion

Nike Juvenate Women’s shoes (£72) are this months must have! I have never had trainers so comfy plus so adaptable that they work with nearly all looks. The only down-side is that the material is predominately mesh and so they aren’t that practical for your typical British rainy day.

Stores

Having just moved into my university house I wanted to make my room more homely this year and give it a more personal touch. Whilst watching You-Tube room hauls I came across the store Home Sense, it is the chain of T K Maxx and stocks only the homeware stuff that you can find in T K Maxx. It has some fantastic bargains that are both designer and high street. Anything you could possible need for a new home or a Uni room on a bargain budget can definitely be found in this store.

App

Having recently been on holiday to Disney World, Florida, I have been looking for great apps to edit my photos. That’s when I came across Color Pop. Color Pop turns your photos into black and white and you then pick specific aspects of the photo in which you want colour. It turns a pretty basic photo into something pretty awesome.

What brush do you use to apply the colourpop highlight? I have Smoke N Whistles but I don’t know what brush to use :/

    1. I find using your finger is the best application. The product is so pigmented and it looks more flawless using your finger and dotting it.
